Lady Tiger Soccer played first-place University on Tuesday evening. The match was an opportunity for either team to claim the top spot in the standings.

Penelope Vizcarra opened the scoring for Belton, assisted by Kiersten Rowland. Rowland then battled past several University defenders to score the Tigers' second goal, giving them a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Rowland sealed the win with her second goal of the night, assisted by Ava Itz, securing a 3-0 victory for the Lady Tigers, who now sit three points ahead of second place.
