The Tigers fell to Rouse on the road, 38–59. In a much more competitive matchup than in previous years, sophomore Isabella Warner led the way with 19 points, while Emma Harvey attacked the basket and earned five trips to the foul line. Belton handled Rouse’s tough press with confidence, highlighted by Ke'Ara Shanks’ strong court vision. Olivia Henderson battled defensively against Rouse’s tall post players, and Aubrey Edwards showed her versatility by defending effectively both on the perimeter and in the paint.
