The JV Tigers defeated Pflugerville Connally 45-24. The team played hard all game, especially on the defensive and rebounding fronts. Ten different players contributed to the scoring. Da’Nay Knox led the team with 10 points with Iris Molina adding another 8. Defensively, and on the boards, Grace Landen and Laney Martinez stepped up. Molina and Hailey Schutz put a lot of pressure on the ball to force turnovers for some key baskets. The team is playing Thursday and Saturday in our own Belton ISD tournament.
