Freshman Red had a strong performance against Pflugerville Connally Tuesday night pulling off a 36 - 9 victory on the road. The Tigers opened up with a 6 - 3 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and from there, the Tigers would turn up the defensive pressure extending that lead to 18 - 6 at the half. The Tigers would hold Connally to just 3 points in the second half. Ella Tucek led all scorers with 12 points and Nalelly Siprian added 6. The entire team played solid defense the whole way with Aubrey Edwards and Ella Hice getting their hands on a lot of deflections. Melissa Farmer and Ke'Ayla Funches did a good job on the boards. Freshman Red's next game will be Thursday at 2:30 pm at Tiger Gym for our BISD tournament.
