The JV Tigers started the tournament with a close win over McGregor, 26-24. Iris Molina led all scorers with 9 points. Gabbi Heltness and Laney Martinez worked hard to rebound all game. The game was close throughout. The team did a good job closing out the game for the win.

The second game of the night did not finish as well. The team struggled early to score while Temple scored early and often. The gamed ended 47-29. Grace Landen and Da’Nay Knox led all scorers with 8 points each. Maddie Schoegel and Ellena Ash made some heads up plays to help the team on offense. The team finishes the tournament Saturday at 2:20 against Killeen Chapparral.
