Although the Tigers fell to Rouse at home last night, 43-32, there were bright moments. Defensive effort was the focus last night and for most of the game, it was evident on the floor. Tyler Waldrep and Alivia Jackson worked tirelessly underneath to hold Rouse's high scorer to just 2 points on the night. The rim seemed to have a lid on it at times, but the team did land 7 three pointers from the nigh, coming from 3 different players. Avelle Bonfoh led the tigers with 11 points and Kaylie Pietras added 9.

The tigers open up a very competitive district season on Tuesday against state ranked Chaparral.
