The Belton Tigers Freshman A team opened up district play with a 51 - 17 loss to the Chaparral Bobcats. The Bobcats opened the game on a 24 -2 run and the Tigers would have an uphill battle for the remainder of the game. The Tigers did, however, outscore the Bobcats in the 2nd quarter and showed some promising signs of progression. The Bobcats would start the 3rd quarter with the lead and hang on for the victory. Aubrey Edwards and Ella Hice would end the contest with 4 points a piece. Saniya Huston did a phenomenal job grabbing rebounds and Melissa Farmer played a vital role in our defense. The Tigers' next game will be Friday, December 15th as they host Shoemaker.
