The Tigers picked up a win in their first white-division, bracket game against Austin Eastside on Day 2 of the Bastrop Holiday Tournament. Winning every quarter, the tigers held the lead for the entirety of the game with a final score of 49-24. This was an offensive record for the girls this season and they had three teammates in double digits; Tyler Waldrep led with 12, Avelle Bonfoh had 11, and Alivia Jackson added an additional 10. Notably, freshman Ella Tucek added a three pointer and knocked down both her free throws. Ke'ara Shanks and Sa'Deja Ellis were defensive standouts and Tyler Waldrep and Skylar Ellis both were aggressive on the boards.

In the final game of the tournament, the tigers fell to Del Valle by just 6 points with a final score of 41-35. After being down 15-6 at the end of the 3rd quarter, the tigers would "win" the last three quarters 29-26. Avelle Bonfoh supplied 14 points, Alivia Jackson added an additional 10 and defensive stand outs were Lily Trujillo and Sa'Deja Ellis.

The Tigers will get back to district play Tuesday against Waco University at home.
