The Varsity Tigers lost a nail biter 34-32 against district opponent Waco University. The Tigers led all but the last few minutes of the game when ball pressure got the best of them. Holding a district opponent under 35 is a huge accomplishment and the girls hope to see a better offensive game in the second round against the Trojans. Ke'ara Shanks and Tyler Waldrep were stand out rebounders and Lily Trujillo took a momentum changing charge.
