Freshman Red played hard for 4 quarters but would fall short 22 - 25 to Lake Belton in a thriller. This was the second meeting between the two teams with Lake winning the first game 40-15. Offensive standouts Abigail Corona led the team with 8 points while Saniya Huston added 6. Defensive standouts were Damauria Hemphill who played hard and got a few steals and Ella Hice who got her hands on a ton of deflections. Despite the loss, the Tigers are getting better with each game. Freshman Red will be back in action on the road Friday against Killeen High School.
