Last night, at home against Lake Belton, the Tigers scored one point shy of their offensive high of 49 points. The Broncos have not lost to a district team, but that did not phase the Tigers. Losing 78-48 still had some bright spots. With three teammates in double digits, the offense is starting to show signs of chemistry. Ella Tucek with 10, Emma Flory with 10 and Avelle Bonfoh with 11 were three of the 7 teammates who scored in last night's game. Lily Trujillo had several unselfish assists to get the offense started. Tyler Waldrep not only added 7 points but also took a momentum-swinging charge. The Tigers take on Killeen to round out the first round of district Friday at Killeen High School.
