The girls basketball team finished their season last night at home versus the Killeen Kangaroos and unfortunately fell short 39-66. Senior twins Skylar and Sa'Deja Ellis combined for 8 points and several sister-sister moments on the floor. Avelle Bonfoh added 17 points. Ella Tucek and Tyler Waldrop contributed 6 a piece. Madison Bowling took a charge to light up the defense and Ke'ara Shanks hustled to save the basketball several times by diving on the ground. Thank you to both middle school programs from South Belton Middle School and Belton Middle School that came out to support our girls. The Southwest Elementary Little Dribblers put on an incredible half time show and their honor choir represented well while singing the national anthem. Thank you to our friends and families that have supported us all year long, we look forward to seeing you again in the fall. Go Tigers!
