On Friday, March 22, the Belton Tigers will be traveling to Abilene Texas to compete in the 2024 State Powerlifting Meet. Daniel Arana will be representing the Tigers at this meet. Daniel has worked hard this year improving his total each week. Two weeks ago he was able to bring home the 4th place medal in the Regional Meets, but totaled out at 880 pounds and secured his automatic qualifying total. We will be leaving Belton High at 1:30 on Friday the 22nd to go take on the state in the 114-pound weight class. There will be twenty-five athletes competing for the championship for the weight class on Saturday.
