The Freshmen Red played their 2nd game of the season against Georgetown High School. Once again improvement was shown on both sides of the ball.
Georgetown came out firing and scored on their first play of the game. The Tiger Offense would drive the ball almost the length of the field to only come up short.
After many back and forth series and a few Georgetown turnovers, the Tigers would go into halftime down 14-0.
Georgetown would go up 20-0 before the Tiger defense would score on a Forced Fumble by Caleb Gutierrez and a scoop & score by Alex Carpenter. Morgan Pascoe would make the extra point. In the end, the Tigers would run out of time losing 20-7.
Other key players in the game were big runs by Oakley Torres & fumble recoveries by Cason Morton & Morgan Pascoe.
The Tigers will be back in action at Georgetown East View on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30pm.
