Fur Flies as 9th RED Tigers defeat Bobcats, 29-6

The Freshmen Red traveled to San Angelo Central High School for their 4th game of the season.

The Tiger Defense busted on the Bobcats first drive allowing a scramble completion for a touchdown. After the bust, the Tigers would put an end to any more Bobcat scoring.

Offensively, the Tigers ended the 1st quarter scoreless but showed signs of a spark.

In the 2nd, the spark would ignite with an 8-yard Nash Jordan rushing touchdown.

In the 3rd, another Nash Jordan touchdown would bring the score to 14-6.

Next it would be the defenses turn with Anthony Garcia 88-yard interception return. The Tigers would go for 2 and convert with Sawyer Harbin pass to Alex Carpenter. Eli Idoux would cap off the scoring with a 15-yard rushing touchdown. PAT kicks were made by Morgan Pascoe & Adrian Hang.

The Tigers would get the win with a score of 29-6.

Other key plays in the game would be fumble recovery by Giovanni Rivero, fumble recovery by Sebastian Ramirez, key stops inside by Rowdy Watson, and Anthony Garcia would finish the game with 3 Interceptions.

The Tigers are now 2 - 2 on the season & will be back in action at Cuero High School on Thursday, September 26th at 5:00pm.
