The Tigers’ JV team played at home against Copperas Cove losing 30-16. The Tigers led 10-8 at the half but the Lady Dawgs were able to extend their lead in the third quarter and the Tigers couldn’t close the gap. Ty Stafford played strong on defense. Avery Angell and Ariana Tobar each scored 6 points to lead the team. The girls play next in the McCallum tournament on Thursday and Saturday.
