The Tigers returned to the competitive Paschal Invitational Tournament in the TCU area of Fort Worth this year and went 1-3 on the weekend.
Belton took on Corsicana and Paschal in pool play and ended up third after losing in a close 48-50 game to Corsicana and a larger deficit of 47-30 to the host team.

In day two of the tournament, Belton took on athletic Alvarado and, again, came within striking distance losing 52-48. The Tigers finished off the tournament with a win against Springtown High School pulling it off 47-39. Well distributed scoring and major defensive effort finished the tournament on a high note.

Isabella Warner averaged just over 16 points a game and Avelle Bonfoh 12. Ke'Ara Shank's defense was crucial in all games and major rebounding efforts from Madison Bowling and Emma Harvey added extra possessions and momentum. The statistical highlight, even though it was in a game loss, was all players scored in the game against Corsicana. This is undoubtedly why they were able to come back and keep it so close against a deep and athletic team.

The Tigers return to preseason play as they travel to Rogers high school on Tuesday.
