Belton Tigers JV team defeated a young Rogers Eagles team 41-4. The team played tough at both ends of the court. Defensively they held the Eagles to only 4 points in the first half. Strong post play by Dylan Waldrep, Ariana Tobar, Avery Angell and Melissa Farmer kept the Eagles of the boards and provided numerous putbacks off rebounds. Offensively, the team pushed a fast pace and was able to get some quick points from Aubrey Edwards, Abby Corona, Saniya and Laila Huston. However, the posts were the main scorers this time with 10 points from Tobar and 8 more from Waldrep. The team, as a whole, did a great job working together for a strong win! They are back in action at home versus Temple on Friday.
