On Friday night the Belton Girls Basketball freshman A team took on the Temple Wildcats in another preseason matchup. At first, the wildcats had a fast 24 point start to Belton’s 3 points in the first quarter, scored by Laila Huston. Throughout the game, the Belton offense couldn’t find their rhythm but had found good shots from the three point line in the second quarter by Natalie Stauffer and Laila Huston. Leading scorers in this game were Laila Huston with 9 points, Kadence Morales and Natalie Stauffer with 5 points, and Hannah Martinez with 4 points.
