The Tigers hit the court running on Thursday, December 5th, dominating Waco Connally in their opening matchup. Led by an explosive offensive effort, Belton cruised to a commanding 47-27 victory. Abran Knight, Jayden Holt, and Gavin Ross spearheaded the attack, with crisp ball movement and sharp shooting that overwhelmed the Connally defense.
In the second game of the day, the Tigers faced a formidable Harker Heights team in a tightly contested battle. Despite their best efforts, Belton fell just short, losing 57-50. On Saturday, December 7th, the Tigers returned to the court with renewed focus. Facing off against the Midway Panthers in the battle for third place, Belton clinched a hard-fought 48-43 victory. Once again, the Tigers’ offensive trio of Knight, Holt, and Ross delivered in key moments, while the defense tightened up to secure the win.
