The game had started off slow, but with a defensive front from both teams with plenty of turnover caused by steals from both teams. One player who came out and wreaked havoc on the defensive end was Ai Kirkland, with 8 steals all by herself throughout the whole game. Another set of players who stepped up on the defensive end was Jada Gage, Lorol Emrick and Gennie Nelson with plenty of blocks between the three of them.
Coming into the third quarter, when shots started to fall for the Tigers; with a three from both Mia Gonzales and Lasley Cuevas; who had a season high of 10 points this season. Other than that, shots within the paint were coming through as well, with a couple great post moves from Kadence Morales, Gennie Nelson and Ella Vaughn. Lastly, Lillian Baggett also had a good game herself with 10 points herself this game.
This game was a well played game for all the girls on this team on both sides of the court, offensive and defensive.
The Tigers play on Tuesday, December 14th against against Robinson High School, which is their last game before the winter break and before district.
