On Tuesday, January 14th, the Belton Tigers Girls Basketball Team took on the Ellison Eagles in another District game.

This game was mostly a defensive game especially coming from the Tigers, only allowing four points the first half of the game and eight points the entire game.

Players with amazing defensive efforts was Jada Gage with four steals and Laila Huston with three steals.

The Tigers stepped up the scoring in the second half with great scoring efforts from Kadence Morales with 10 points, Genny Nelson 8 points and Lillian Baggett with five points.

The Tigers took the win 33-6 over the Eagles, their next game will be against Waco High School on Friday.
