The tigers were up against a tough, district favorite, Ellison on Tuesday night and fell 65-30. The highlight was the offensive 2nd quarter when they beat the Eagles 15-10. Throughout the night there was still obvious growth and room for the same as the tough defense from Ellison held the Tiger offense to multiple, single digit quarters. Avelle Bonfoh led the offense with 14 points including hitting 3 for 3 from the freethrow line and Emma Harvey and Tyler Waldrep rebounds were strong. Emma Flory, Lily Trujillo and Ke'Ara Shanks were dealt the job of handling Ellisons best player and worked tirelessly in the role.

To finish out the first round of district, The tigers will host Waco High at home on Friday.
