In the most exciting games so far this season, the varsity girls took down Waco High School in over time wining 57-50.

Everyone on the team scored. Offense was led by Isabella Warner with 21 points, Avelle Bonfoh with 18 points and Emma Flory added an additional 9. Seniors Lily Trujillo, Madison Bowling and Tyler Waldrep all took a charge to help swing momentum in the way of the Tigers.
Ke'Ara Shanks played outstanding defense throughout the game to contain their best player. Ella Tucek hit a shot from the arc to help the Tigers go into half time leading 28-25. It was a well rounded game and a team win for the girls to close out the first round if district 2-3.

The team will host Lake Belton on Tuesday night for their Future Tigers' Night and the start of the second round.
