On Wednesday night, the Belton Tigers Girls Basketball Team took on the Lake Belton Girls Basketball Team in a District game.

The Broncos took a 10-0 lead within the first 3 minutes and shutout the Tigers for the first few minutes of the game.

After a few minutes, the a tigers came back with a few good shots from Kadence Morales and Jada Gage in the paint and good rebounds from both Hannah Martinez and Genny Nelson on the defensive end.

Throughout the game, both teams went at it with great shots from inside the paint but the Broncos ultimately took the win in the end of the game 32-27.
Leading scorers were Genny Nelson and Laila Huston with 6 points each and Nat Stauffer with 2 points.
