On Tuesday, January 31st, the Belton Tigers Girls Basketball team took on the Ellison Eagles in their last district game of the season.

The game started off slow with each team hitting a theee and some quick layups dropping from Ella Vaughn and Kadence Morales.
This game was mostly a defensive game from both teams with the score being less than 15 pts from each team.

The biggest lead of the game was in favor for the Eagles with it being 10 points, with it eventually being cut down to to 2 points coming into halftime.

Coming into the second half, the tigers took the lead with their biggest lead being 10 points. Thanks to good shots Kadence Morales and Ai Kirkland.

Coming into the fourth quarter, the Eagles had cut down the 10 point lead and gain the one point lead over the tigers.

Lastly, thanks to an amazing last minute layup by Kadence Morales as time ran out to secure the win over the eagles.
