Varsity Belton Basketball defeated Waco High 66-51 in a solid performance that showcased strong contributions from multiple players. Jay’dn Loggins led the way with 19 points, while Noah Childers added 15 to help secure the victory. Sophomore Luke Munden chipped in 9 points, and fellow sophomore Ty Johnson contributed 5 in the win. Abran Knight made an impressive Varsity debut, scoring 8 points in his first game. Jason Green stepped up big time, adjusting to a new role and providing crucial plays when the team needed it most. Daniel Briscoe was instrumental on the boards, especially late in the game, securing several key rebounds to seal the win. The Tigers’ well-rounded effort helped them maintain control throughout the game, with strong defense and timely scoring. This victory marks a solid start to the season for Belton, showcasing both veteran leadership and fresh talent.
