The Belton Tigers put together an impressive showing at the PFISD Tournament, finishing with a strong 4–1 record against a challenging field. Belton opened tournament play with a convincing 67–53 win over Rockwall, setting the tone with disciplined defense and balanced scoring. The Tigers followed that up with a dominant 74–37 victory over Pflugerville Connally, overwhelming their opponent with pace and physicality. Momentum continued to build as Belton handled El Paso Eastlake 83–53, showcasing offensive depth and the ability to pull away with sustained pressure on both ends of the floor.

One of the tournament’s marquee performances came in Belton’s hard-fought 72–63 win over Dallas South Oak Cliff, where toughness, composure, and execution down the stretch proved decisive. Throughout the tournament, Ty Johnson’s steady leadership and two-way play stood out, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Noah Childers and Jay’dn Loggins consistently delivered scoring and playmaking, while Luke Munden added versatility and timely baskets that kept defenses stretched. Belton’s ability to get production from multiple players made them difficult to scout and defend all weekend.

The Tigers’ run concluded with an 87–62 loss to St. Michael’s, but the result did little to diminish an otherwise outstanding tournament performance. Daniel Briscoe and Abran Knight provided a strong interior presence with rebounding and physical play, while Gavin Ross brought energy and defensive disruption. Off the bench, Keishawn Coles made key contributions that highlighted Belton’s depth and team-first approach. Finishing 4–1 against quality competition, the Tigers left the PFISD Tournament battle-tested, confident, and clearly trending upward as the season continues. Tigers are now 13-2 on the season.
