The JV Tennis Team competed in the Robinson JV Tournament on Thursday the 13th. In a very cold and windy outing the Tigers played very well. In Girls Doubles Lynnlee Rodriquez and Amariah Brown lost a close match in the semifinals and ended up in fourth place. In Boys Doubles Erik Chavez and Alonso Romero Aguilera lost a tough first round match but played well to win consolation. In Boys Singles both Antonio Ureste and Billy Grigsby lost competitive first round match but played well to get to the consolation finals for an all Belton match. Antonio was able to pull ahead of his teammate in a tiebreaker. The Tigers will be back for the Temple JV Tournament on February 20th. Great Job Tigers!
