The Tigers hosted Waco High on Tuesday at Wilson Kerzee. It was a cold and windy match. Our guys had the wind in their face in the first half. Our guys played hard and had some great chances, but Waco got the better of us and we found ourselves down 3-0.

The second half, we had the wind at our backs and we started to gain some confidence. We were creating various chances and Larry Torres scored his first goal of the season 5 minutes into the 2nd half. Matthew Watkins was next up, adding his name to the score sheet, making the game 3-2 with 15 minutes left. We were pressing high, but could not find the equalizing goal. Waco was able to catch us on the counter with 5 minutes left to make the game 4-2.

We start the 2nd half of district on Friday night when we host Ellison at 7:30 PM.
