Lady Tiger Soccer Cruises Past Waco High

The Lady Tiger Soccer team had a big night on Tuesday, rolling past Waco High School with an impressive 8-0 win. Kiersten Rowland and Ava Itz took charge on offense, scoring all eight goals between them.

The game was moved to an earlier time slot due to a winter freeze, which made conditions tricky. Still, the Lady Tigers didn’t let the cold slow them down and continued to dominate as they reached the halfway point of the district schedule on top of the standings.

On the defensive side, goalkeeper Elizabeth Marschall and defensive compatriots Bella Stermer, Marissa Christenson, AJ Powell, and Abby Idoux had a solid game, keeping Waco High off the scoreboard and earning a shutout.

Next up, the Lady Tigers will hit the road to take on Ellison High School on Friday. With their strong performance so far, they’ll look to keep up the momentum and stay at the top of the district.
