Congratulations to Junior Addison Richardson for placing in the top 24 overall fastest times in 5A for the 500 Freestyle! Addison will compete at the Lee and Joe Jamail Swim Center in Austin, TX on February 23rd and 24th. Addison currently boasts a personal best of 4:47.19, which has him ranked 16th in 5A for the 500 Free. Addison will look to post a similar time or better on Friday at the Prelim session, in order to place in the top 16 for a spot in Finals on Saturday. On top of that, Addison is now only 6 seconds away from the Belton High School 500 Freestyle Record set by former Belton Tiger Noah Henry in 2017 (4:41.52).

Regardless of the outcome, we are beyond thrilled for Addison and his swim career so far. We can't wait to see what he will do in 2 weeks!
