The JV Tiger Tennis Team competed in the Round Rock Westwood JV Tournament Thursday. Leading into the second tournament of the season, the Tigers had been putting in the work on the court to see how they stacked up against tough competition from the Round Rock/Austin area. Overall, the team made great progress and battled all day.

Hayden Medina/Alonso Romero Aguilera made it to the Quarterfinals of B Boys Doubles before falling in a close match to LBJ High School.

Diego Olvera/Tyler Stock struggled in their first match of the A Boys Doubles Draw against Hyde Park, but fought back to earn a spot in the consolation Semi-Finals. They were bested by a solid Vista Ridge Team in the end.

It was a good day for the young JV Tiger Tennis Team. They will have next week off before they will compete in their host tournament here at home March 5th and 7th. Go Big Red!
