George "Scott" Clark has been named the inaugural Head Wrestling Coach at Belton High School. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with over 12 years of coaching experience. He is coming to Belton with previous experience at Temple, East View, Cedar Ridge, Del Valle, and Palestine. He has spent the last 7 years of his career helping to grow and develop the sport of wrestling in Central Texas both as a head wrestling coach and as an assistant wrestling coach. He has coached many regional and state wrestling qualifiers. He will also be coaching football. His wife Jennie and son Brantley are excited to be joining the Belton Tiger family. Belton High Athletics welcomes the Clark family.
