It had been 17 days since the JV WHITE had taken the field for a meaningful, scheduled game as the Lake Belton Broncos galloped across the river for their much-anticipated rematch last Thursday evening. For either team, the keys to victory would be who would pitch good, play good defense & out hit the other. When it was all said & done, neither team had the upper hand as the 2 competitive teams split their district double-header.
The JV WHITE Tigers were a little rusty on defense committing 4 errors in each game, & at times, it looked like a snowball fight as both teams threw the ball around.

Looking to take their 3rd straight game over the Broncos, the JV WHITE fell behind early then lost a 3-2 lead as the Tigers were eventually defeated, 6-3, by Lake Belton in the night-cap of their district DH.
The Broncos raced out to a 2-1 led before the Tigers clawed back for a short-lived, 3-2 lead in the 3rd. The Broncos would capitalize on Tiger errors by scoring runs in the last 3 innings to earn the victory.
