August 15-17, Tiger Volleyball traveled to Georgetown to compete in their first tournament of the year. They competed against Gateway Preparatory School, KCA, Fossil Ridge, Eagle Pass, Giddings, Georgetown, Salado, and Clear Falls over the course of 3 days. The Tigers went 2-1 in the first two days of the tournament which led them to compete in the Gold Bracket on Saturday! The Tigers competed well on Saturday and came extremely close in both of their gold bracket matches. They fell short in each gold bracket match by no more than 5 points in 3 sets and 7 points short in one set. The Tigers have made huge improvements over a short period of time. We are proud of how much growth they’ve shown so far! Tiger Volleyball will travel to Cedar Creek High School on Tuesday (8/20) to compete in another match. Go Tigers!
