Last night (8/20) Belton Volleyball traveled to Cedar Creek to take on the Eagles. The Tigers took the match in 4 sets to bring them to a 5-5 standing on the season so far. The Tigers had a slow start and dropped set 1 to the Eagles, but were able to find the momentum to turn things around for the rest of the match. Senior captain, Macyen Doskocil, has offensively been a dominant force on the team and last night was no different. She led with 15 kills and added a handful of digs from the back row as well. Freshman standout, Malu Pula, was second in kills last night with 9 and added 2 blocks and 4 digs to help the Tigers' defense. Junior setter, Landry Duggan, led the Tigers with 30 assists and added 9 digs. Defensively, the Tigers had a combined 50 digs for the night.
The Tigers will be traveling to Huntsville to compete in a competitive tournament this weekend! Lets go Tigers!
