Last night, your Belton Tigers hosted the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. This was the second time this season that the Tigers have gone to a 5 set match in their home court. The Tigers came out on top from a 0-2 set deficit (21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-12).

This win was a complete team effort. The Tigers showed a lot of fight and determination to come out with a win. Everyone stepped up to do their part to help push the team to victory. Macyen Doskocil, Kelsey Morrow, and Bella Pula did a great job of leading on the court. Avelle Bonfoh, Lyza LeBlanc, Marissa Hinojos, and Abigail Marzo did a great job of helping the team gain momentum in crucial moments of the match. Offensively, Doskocil, B. Pula, and CJ Stites did a great job working around the big blocks that Copperas Cove had on their side. We are very proud of this team!

The Tigers will be back on the road Friday, September 13th. They will travel to Pflugerville High School to take on the Panthers at 6:30pm. The Tigers next home match will be Tuesday, October 1st. Let’s go Tigers!
