Great weekend for the Tigers as they go 2-1 on the day at the Salado tournament. The Freshman Red team opened against Bartlett High Schools JV team and won set one 25-6 and set two 25-15. They then played Lorena's freshman team and lost in a close game with set one 24-26 and set two 24-26. The Tigers finished the day beating Salado's JV White team in two sets taking set one 25-17 and set two 25-21. Over the day Kierra Ellis led the team with 6 aces and 13 kills. Genevette Nelson led the team with 3 blocks. Rexlynn Drake led the team with 9 digs. Kensley Wolfe and Allie Pattrick also had a great day with a combined total 22 assists. Overall it was a great day for the Tigers and they look forward to playing at Lorena again on Tuesday September 17th.
