The 4th Annual Belton ISD Fall Invitational took place this past Saturday at the Belton Swim Center. With a total of 16 teams and 305 athletes in attendance, both the Belton Girls' team and Boys' team placed 5th overall, finishing 5th in combined points, as well! While 5th may not have been what Belton would've liked, there were several incredible individual swims and vastly improved relay times from the previous quad-meet with Austin and the other BISD schools! With illness and absences being a factor, Belton was only able to put together a roster of 11 swimmers, missing out on some major points. However, those that did compete, understood the circumstances and faced the challenge head on! There were some massive individual performances from swimmers like Seniors Addison Richardson (29 points), Raef Airhart (30 points), Olivia Brillhart (33 points), Zee Gingerich (19.5 points), Sophomore Kirra Martin (26 points), and Freshman Ema Whitzel (25 points)! Below are the highlights from the meet:

-Girls' 200 Free: Ema Whitzel finished 5th (2:13.90)
-Boys' 200 Free: Addison Richardson finished 7th (1:58.35); Wyatt Nelson finished 12th (2:09.38)
-Girls' 200 IM: Kirra Martin finished 2nd (2:26.19)
-Boys' 200 IM: Micah Rodriguez finished 14th (2:36.47)
-Girls' 50 Free: Olivia Brillhart finished 3rd (26.77); Zee Gingerich finished 10th (27.57)
-Boys' 50 Free: Maddox Spence finished 21st (26.10); Michael Nyah finished 82nd (53.55)
-Girls' 100 Fly: Natalia Kulisz finished 5th (1:12.86)
-Girls' 100 Free: Zee Gingerich finished 6th (1:01.07); Ema Whitzel finished 8th (1:01.20)
-Boys' 100 Free: Raef Airhart finished 5th (52.24)
-Boys' 500 Free: Addison Richardson finished 2nd (5:07.67); Wyatt Nelson finished 7th (5:40.11); Micah Rodriguez finished 14th (6:03.45)
-Boys' 200 Freestyle Relay (Richardson, Spence, Nelson, Airhart) finished 9th (1:46.34)
-Girls' 100 Back: Olivia Brillhart finished 2nd (1:04.28); Kirra Martin finished 9th (1:07.57); Natalia Kulisz finished 12th (1:12.01)
