Boys Soccer traveled to Leander Glenn this past weekend to participate in the Grizzly Classic.

We did not start off the tournament the way we wanted to. It was cold, rainy, and windy and we did not preform well. Our game on Friday was moved to Saturday because of the weather. On Saturday, our team played much better.
We put together perhaps our best performance so far against a good Marshall team, but were unable to find the back of the net. We had a multitude of chances, and eventually one of them will fall our way.
Our last game was against the state tournament runners up last season, Leander Glenn. Even with it being the 2nd game on the day for our guys, we played extremely hard and made it difficult for Glenn. Will Bralley was able to score straight from a corner kick. The first half ended 1-1. We continued to battle in the 2nd half and conceded the final two goals of the match in the last 10 minutes of the game.
We have some positive things to take away from our last two matches and we hope to continue to improve as we take on Midway this Friday.
