Sum-Up of the Belton JV Tournament. Overall all the JVA Boys Soccer Team played hard, learned a lot and made good progress.
The first game against Bastrop was a tough battle against a very good team. The Tigers played hard but lacked a bit in communication and ball movement. They kept the other team at bay until the 2nd half where we lost 2-0.

The second game against a very athletic Harker Heights team was an amazing match to watch. The Tigers fixed communication and moved the ball well all over the field. The Tigers back line shut down any attempt that the other team had of scoring. Unfortunately the Tigers were not able to score on the chances we had with the end score being 0-0. So proud of the improvements made.

The third game was against Salado which is a very talented team. The game went back and forth with Salado being able to put 1 in in the 1st half. The Tigers battled even harder in the 2nd half of play but were unable to score. The game ended 2-0 with the win to Salado.
Having had 4 games in 1 week was very tough and as a team we learned a lot and will be able to make adjustments as the weeks progress towards District play. I am very positive for the future and glad to see the team come together and improve each day. Go Tigers!!!
