We took a partial team to the Yoemen Invitational at Cameron HS Thursday evening and came out with great results. Overall, we finished 4th in the team standings among 9 teams total. We had 4 medal winners on the night. Julie He claimed 1st place in her division with a career best 615 lb night. Ciaran Messersmith nearly matched a career best in earning 2nd place in her weight class. In her first meet of her career, Kennedy Weston had a great night in lifting 695 lbs for her total weight which earned her a 1st place medal as well! Isa Ake improved her career best by 70 lbs for a total of 515 lbs to claim a 3rd place medal in her weight class. Adelina Linthicum is off to a great start to this season. She has already matched her career high with 410 lbs at this meet. It was an exciting night for our team all around. Another team of lifters will compete Saturday at the Andrew Billings Meet in Waco.
