The Belton Tigers Powerlifting Team showcased their strength and determination at the Andrew Billings Powerlifting Meet, competing against tough opponents and securing a seventh-place finish out of thirteen teams. The event highlighted the team’s dedication and individual successes, with several standout performances.

Daniel Arana delivered an incredible performance in the 123-pound weight class, earning first place with an impressive total lift of 1,080 pounds. His efforts underscored the Tigers’ reputation for developing strong competitors in lighter-weight categories.

In the 165-pound weight class, Logan Ricks dominated the competition, finishing first with a phenomenal total lift of 1,270 pounds. Ricks’ consistent effort and power earned him another top finish and added to the team’s points.

The 181-pound weight class saw fierce competition with multiple Tigers stepping up. Thomas Morter secured third place with a total lift of 1,115 pounds, demonstrating strength and skill under pressure. Jaden Lopez-Rodriguez placed 6th in the same weight class with a total lift of 935 pounds, showcasing determination and resilience. Cody Behnk also competed in the 181-pound weight class, achieving a total lift of 805 pounds in a valiant effort.

Jack Camboia represented the Tigers in the 198-pound weight class and finished with a total lift of 1,015 pounds. Camboia’s performance added valuable points to the team’s overall standing and demonstrated his potential for future meets.
