Your Varsity Tiger Wrestling teams traveled to Burleson Wednesday for our first ever district tournament! We traveled with 13 male wrestlers and 9 female wrestlers. Belton opened the tournament up with us being showcased for the first 2 matches of the day! Kaylee Mauterstock and Makayla Reyes won both of those matches. Throughout the day we saw how badly our Tigers wanted to compete! When the dust finally settled at 9:00 PM we are taking 6 wrestlers to the regional meet this week at Addison.
Izaiah Avila District Champion at 215lbs
Chase Colbath Runner Up at 113lbs
Jacob U'ren Runner Up at 126lbs
Jamie Martins 4th place at 132lbs
Eli Idoux 4th place at 120lbs
Mallory Brasher 5th place at 145lbs.

These 6 wrestlers will compete in the Region 2 tournament on February 7-8 at the Alfred Loos Center in Addison.
