Dominate is the word of the night as the JVA Boys took on the Ellison Eagles in the District opener. The game started off wonderfully as the Tigers moved the ball around with ease and with great communication. The defensive back line put a stop to any advances towards the goal keeping the Eagles at bay. The Tigers mid-field led by Angel Chavarria allowed for great ball movement and allowing our strikers to have many chances to score. In the 1st half goals were scored by Cesar Aguayo off a corner from Chris Noyola. Aaron Hernandez and Jose Rios also scored making the game 3-0 at half.
In the second half another goal was scored by Aaron Hernandez to make the final score 4-0 Tigers. What an awesome start to the District season going 1-0 into the next game on Friday against LBHS broncos. Great Job Tigers!!!!!
