Great day for Belton softball in their scrimmages against Austin Anderson and RR Westwood.

For Junior Varsity they opened against Anderson. In this game Natalie Goulet and Emma Lusty both batted 1000 with 2 hits each. Addison Reed was on the mound and threw 9 strikeouts in 3 innings.

In game 2, against Westwood, Marissa Hinojos, Emma Lusty, and Natalie Goulet all batted 1000 with 1 hit each. Goulet also took the mount with 5 strikeouts in 3 innings.

For varsity, they opened against Anderson as well. Iris Molina, Andalyn Logan, Reagan Stuart, and Presli Thompson all batted 1000 with 2 hits a piece. Tara Stone had her first career home run. Stuart was on the mound for the tigers with 5 strikeouts and only 2 runs in the 3 innings.

In game 2, varsity played Westwood. Tara Stone took the mound with 3 strikeouts and only 3 runs in 3 innings. On offense Andalyn Logan led the tigers going 2 for 2 with a solo home run.

Overall this was a great set of scrimmages for the Tigers as they look forward to their scrimmage at home against Temple on Tuesday February 4th.
