Lady Tiger Soccer Dominates Home-Opening District Game Against Ellison Eagles
The Lady Tigers kicked off district play with a commanding performance, securing a 7-0 victory over the Ellison Eagles in their home opener. Belton entered the match with a 7-2-2 record and looked to earn a strong result against a determined Ellison squad.
Penelope Vizcarra’s second and third goals of the season (with an assist from Kiersten Rowland) helped settle any early nerves for the home team. Aside from a brief lull midway through the second half, the Tigers controlled the game, lighting up the scoreboard to take a 7-0 lead into halftime.
